2 beetroot peeled and cut into quarters
2-3 tsp of Mistress of Spice Tunisian Tabil
150-200g Danish Feta, or to taste
2-3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
Place beetroot and Mistress of Spice Tunisian Tabil in a saucepan with enough water to just cove the beetroot.
Bring to the boil and then reduce heat and simmer until beetroot is soft and there is only a small amount of water left in the pan. You will need to stir occasionally so that the ingredients do not stick to the bottom of the pan.
For the next step you can either mash the beetroot in a bowl with a fork, adding the feta and balsamic vinegar and mashing again. Or, you can place all ingredients into a food processor/blender and blitz together.
Additional Mistress of Spice Tunisian Tabil can be added for more heat if desired.
